MEET OUR LADIES
LADY Freya
FREYA Deb’s Lady Freya, RL1 (WCRL), TKN, CGC is one of our foundation bitches. Freya (black, 84 pounds) is the mother to 29 Debandles puppies from 3 litters, including our chocolate girls Hera and Maevie. Freya is slim and athletic, and a persistent and a loyal companion. At the age of 6, it’s time to turn the mothering duties over to the next generation, but in her retirement from breeding, she will continue to showcase her capabilities by competing in rally, community canine and obedience trials.
LADY HERA
HERA Deb’s Lady Hera, TKI, CGCA (chocolate, 65 pounds) is one of the next generation of Debandles Labradors (Freya X Southland Cool Hand Luke). She loves people, has a generous spirit and holds AKC Intermediate Trick and Community Canine titles. She is a very loving dog and shares her talents with others as a demo dog for CGC classes. Hera is one of our most versatile of dogs and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw her in field competitions and doing therapy dog work later this year.
LADY SAGA
SAGA Deb’s Lady Saga, RL 1, TKN, CGCA (yellow, 70 pounds) is another of our foundation dogs. Saga has excelled in rally, trick and community canine titles. Saga is the mother to one litter, including some nice service dog and seeing eye prospects, at least one excellent gun dog, (see photo of Ellie) and is our Red’s mother. Saga’s real calling, however, is in her enthusiasm for sharing her sunny, playful attitude with people. Saga is currently training for therapy dog work and sharing her positive attitude as a demo dog for CGC classes.
LADY LOZEN (LOLO)
LOZEN Heartride’s Beloved Lady Lozen, CGCA (yellow, 70 pounds), is an excellent product of stellar breeding of show and performance lines from Heartride Kennels, with a Deep Run Farm sire, GCH Good Time Charley, SH. With her CGCA already achieved, Lolo is our “gentle giant.” Her build is that of classic English Labrador and her temperament makes her excellent company and always good at anything she attempts. Lolo is working on her hunt test and obedience skills.
